The Lord has promised, "I will refresh the weary and satisfy the faint." (Jeremiah 31:25)
Egyptian Christians are suffering increasing violence at the hands of Muslims, but those who perpetrate the violence often go unpunished. Frequently a legal defence of "insanity" is given, as when a church worker called George Fathi was brutally murdered in his flat. Two brothers were arrested, but one was released because he was only 17, and the other pleaded mental illness. However, George's friends say that he was known for sharing the Gospel with Muslims and believe that the brothers killed him because he had led their sister to the Lord. Please pray for justice for Egyptian Christians.
