What is Living Streams?

Living Streams gives you the opportunity to support marginalised and persecuted Christians through regular monthly giving.  You can sponsor a child or sponsor a family.  Your sponsorship becomes a lifeline – not just for survival, but for hope. Your faith in action can restore human dignity.

When you join Living Streams, we will send you a prayer card with a photograph and details of the child/family you are supporting, as well as twice yearly newsletters, which provide general news about the specific stream, as well as providing suggestions for prayer.

Educate: Samsoon’s Story

Frequently asked questions

Can I choose who I sponsor? 

When you choose your sponsorship, you will be allocated a Christian family or child within that category.

How long is my commitment? 

For the Educate a Child and Feed a Family streams, there is no set time period. We hope that you will be happy to continue with your gifts for long enough to make a real difference in the life of a child or family. The commitment to Free a Family is based on 18 monthly payments, which will accumulate enough to free a family based on the average amount of a small, medium, or large debt. After 18 months your sponsorship will be transferred to another family. Whichever stream you choose, you are able to stop your donations at any time.

Will I get updates? 

Yes! You will receive a twice-yearly newsletter with general updates about the stream you have chosen to support. For supporters of the Educate a Child stream, you will also receive occasional updates about your sponsored child.

Can I choose a child/family from a specific country for my sponsorship?

Currently we are only offering children/families for sponsorship in Pakistan. If this changes in the future, it will be announced.

How do food parcels help Christians?

Each monthly food parcel contains enough staple food items to provide around 50% of a family’s food needs. This vital intervention allows families to spend money on other essentials, such as school fees or medical treatment.
