UK: C of E says UK churches inadequately protected from terrorism

14 June 2017

The Church of England has warned that churches are inadequately protected from terrorists and should train their staff to stop attacks. The warning came less than three weeks after Barnabas Fund issued an “alert” warning to UK churches urging them to report immediately any suspicious activity to the police, while carrying on their normal services. The Church of England are currently drawing up security advice for churches which they hope to release in the next few weeks.
