Nigerian students injured when the building of their Christian school collapsed have thanked Barnabas Aid donors for their prayers and help.
Twenty-two pupils died in the disaster in Plateau State in July 2024.
The gifts of Barnabas supporters have paid the fees for 15-year-old survivor Ademola Moses to continue his education at another Christian school, and for the school bag and stationery he needs for class.
“I want to thank everyone for their prayers and support,” said Ademola, who suffered a broken shoulder and nerve damage in his arms as masonry fell on him, burying him under the rubble.
Barnabas has also funded physiotherapy treatment for two girls, aged 15 and 12, who were paralysed in the tragedy, as well as providing them with orthopaedic mattresses, and laptops to continue their studies.
Give thanks for the continued emotional and physical recovery of Ademola and other students injured in the school collapse. Pray for comfort for the parents whose children were killed.
