Pigs and chickens: Food and a future
Barnabas Aid is committed to ensure not only that our brothers and sisters have enough to eat, but also that they have the means to earn a living.
Colin Bloom, Barnabas Aid International CEO, visited some of the Christian communities in Nigeria who will benefit from our new initiative. Can you help us to give pigs and chickens to Christians in lands of poverty and persecution?
For this reason, we’re aiming to give one million pigs and one million chickens to impoverished and persecuted Christians around the world. This way, our brothers and sisters can lift themselves out of poverty with a small farming business, and feed their families. We’re not only providing food, but also a future.
Our aspiration to provide chickens and pigs is motivated by our experience of how effective the gift of livestock can be as a long-term solution to poverty.
