“There are no hospitals here or in the surrounding towns,” says our project partner in Sudan.
Many hospitals and health clinics have closed since the beginning of a civil war nearly two years ago, contributing to what is now one of the world’s worst humanitarian disasters.
Nearly nine million people in Sudan are now displaced – among them many of our brothers and sisters in Christ.

Many Christians are among those who have sought refuge in camps for internally displaced people. They are at risk of illness and malnutrition
They are in urgent need of medical care, food and shelter.
“Those who are already weakened by lack of food are at risk of dying from treatable illnesses such as pneumonia or malaria,” adds our partner.
Help Us to Save Lives
Our project partner is providing emergency healthcare, food parcels and some means of warmth for displaced Christians in two of the worst-affected regions, Blue Nile State and the Abyei Area.
Working through the local church, they aim to meet the needs of believers who have no other earthly source of support.

Can you help us to save lives in Sudan?
“These essential supplies will help to ensure survival during the initial period of displacement when access to life-saving services is limited,” the partner explains.
Could you give towards this life-saving work?
Could you earnestly pray for the success of this project, for the Lord’s provision towards our brothers and sisters, and an end to the conflict in Sudan for the sake of all people?
How You Can Pray
Lord God and Heavenly Father, we lift to You the troubled land of Sudan. Please bring an end to the conflict that has led to so many deaths and wreaked so much destruction. Please provide for those who have lost so much and suffered so greatly, because we ask it in the Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
