Through our .gives (food.gives and medical.gives) initiatives, Barnabas Aid has sent more than 350 metric tons of aid to needy Christians in different parts of the world in just over eight months.
Eight 20-foot containers have been used to deliver 144 metric tons of ePap – a porridge (like oatmeal) containing protein, vitamins and nutrients – to Zimbabwe, while nine 40-foot containers have carried just over 200 metric tons of mixed aid – dry foodstuff, clothes, blankets, diapers, hygiene and sanitary products – to Ukraine.
Desperately needed food aid has also been shipped to Madagascar, Tonga and Pakistan in a further five containers.
Barnabas has committed to sending a further 73 containers, carrying around a thousand metric tons of aid for countries in Africa, the Middle East and elsewhere. Some of this aid is already on the road or at sea.
When these deliveries have been completed Barnabas will have sent a total of 95 containers to Christian communities around the world.
“We are grateful that the Lord has used our .gives initiative to provide for our needy brothers and sisters,” said Barnabas Aid International CEO Hendrik Storm.
“We are also grateful to our supporters,” added Storm, “who have responded with sacrificial generosity and helped fill our containers with tons of food and practical aid.”

Praise the Lord for His provision as, through Barnabas Aid, He cares for His people in lands of great poverty and desperation. Ask that He will continue to bless our efforts on behalf of our suffering family, and supply all their needs “according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:19).
